Gift for Vietnamese neighbor?

I live in Australia and I have a very kind, elderly, Vietnamese couple living next door. I would like to give a small gift to them as a celebration of Spring. Can anyone suggest an appropriate gift? They are avid gardeners and so I was considering a plant would any one in particular have meaning in Vietnamese culture? Would any thing in particular be in-appropriate? Thank you in advance for your help!

Gift for Vietnamese neighbor?
Anything that resembles a South Vietnamese flag, the one with yellow background and 3 parallel red stripes (pre-communist), or anything that remind them of their past, before they came to settle in Australia.
Reply:Gardenias. A rosebush.
Reply:Try here and good luck!
Reply:What about a bonzai tree? They%26#039;re great.
Reply:A four faced Buddha to put in their garden.
